You will be providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance activities to key regional clients - These will be high profile roles where you'll have opportunity to take advantage of industry best firm resources in order to provide first class customer experiences.

What You Will Be Doing
- Review and manage tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, for all entity types with a focus on complex Partnerships
- Review financial statements and perform accounting and adjusting entries, bank reconciliations, and client books and records
- Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate estimated tax liability
- Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
- Advise clients on the tax implications of their business objectives and various partnership specific items including but not limited to section 704(b) and taxable income allocations, capital account maintenance, liability analysis and allocations, section 734(b) and 743(b) adjustment calculations and Tax Receivable Agreement (TRA) calculations
- Apply your knowledge and experience to understand potential partnership taxation issues and assists in the preparation of partnership specific computations
- Conduct complex tax research and prepare memorandum outlining findings and conclusions
- Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquires, and tax notices
- Communicate directly with existing clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
- Lead department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows
What You Need for this Position
- 10+ years minimum of relevant experience
- Strong specialzed experience in Partnerships is required.
- Experience in individual tax compliance, planning
- Tax research experience (RIA)
- Outgoing and friendly personality a team player
- Forward-thinking and always looking for ways to improve, learn, and grow
- Desire and ability to train, mentor/lead, and develop staff
